Alleged drunk driver who crashed into woman's garage had a BAC twice the legal limit
Twenty-seven-year-old TK Fillas was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with property damage.
Court documents state, Fillas was allegedly the driver of Nissan Frontier that crashed into a woman's garage on Jan. 21.
The woman woke to the sound of the crash and was able to get the vehicle description and the license plate before it took off.
The plates were traced back to Fillas who admitted to
drinking and said he was sorry for damaging the house and car, court documents state.
Police noted he also appeared drunk, unable to maintain his balance. A breathalyzer test revealed he had a .168 blood alcohol level, twice the legal limit.
