Police searching for assailants who assaulted elderly man in Dededo

An elderly man was attacked early Wednesday morning sending him to the hospital in critical condition. 

According to the Guam Police Department, the assault happened on Chalan Tromohu in Dededo. The preliminary investigation indicates two men are responsible for the attack.

GPD's Criminal Investigation detectives are canvassing the area for information on the crime.

The victim, who was taken to the Guam Regional Medical City, is now responsive and in stable condition.
