Hagat shooting victim laid to rest

Crowds were at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Hagat today to pay their final respects to Anthony “AJ” Mendiola II.

Mendiola, publicly known for his affiliation with Agat Blood Town, was gunned down outside of his home on San Vicente Avenue two weeks ago.

Red roses were used to frame his photo inside the church, and to spell out his name on a display set next to his casket.

He was laid to rest at the Mt. Carmel cemetery this afternoon. 

Police investigators have yet to confirm what motivated the shooting.

Nathan Ojeda is set to answer to murder charges in local court next week.
