Robert Torres sworn in as Supreme Court chief justice

He's once again Chief Justice Robert Torres.
A swearing-in ceremony was held today at the Monessa G. Lujan Courtroom inside the judicial center.
Torres again filled the top position of the Supreme Court of Guam.
He spoke with attendees during today's ceremony.
"Today for the third time, I assume this stewardship of the Judiciary of Guam," Torres said. "Since my last stint before you as the head of this branch our courts have made strong advances in the delivery of justice. Despite the adversities imposed by the pandemic, the Judiciary never ceased providing critical court services, while also monitoring the way the community can access it."
Torres also recognized his fellow justices and the judiciary staff, along with their shared commitment to make innovation an ally.
