Justice Robert Torres will serve another term as chief justice of the Supreme Court of Guam. He will be sworn-in during a ceremony tuesday morning inside the Monessa G. Lujan Courtroom at the Guam Judicial Center in Hagatna. Torres has been a justice with the high court since 2004.

This is his third time serving as chief justice, having served from 2008 to 2011 and again in 2014 to 2017.

The Guam Judicary notes torres played a central role in expanding court services locally, to include opening the Northern Court Satellite, enabling wireless technology and videoconferencing courtrooms, and e-filing.
