Authorities are trying to pinpoint who brought this substantial amount of methamphetamine into the Department of Corrections prison.
These photos showing several baggies with the drug, makeshift pipes, cell phones, chargers, vapes, and lighters were sent to the KUAM newsroom.
DOC spokesperson Maj. Antone Aguon confirmed the investigation began in early September.

"There was a shakedown conducted by our Special Operations Response Team and they uncovered a good amount of contraband," he said.
It's a case that remained quiet for now three months.
The Guam Police Department has since taken custody of the prison contraband.
"That case is obviously still being investigated," Aguon said. "The drugs were turned over to GPD as per our protocol. We are still trying to investigate where the drugs came from and who is responsible. It was found in lockers up at the dome."

Investigators are trying to track down who smuggled it inside – looking at both the inmates and the correctional officers who were in that unit at the time.
"This contraband issue has been going on for years. It’s a constant battle for us," Aguon said. "We catch some, we don’t catch some. We recently caught a visitor trying to bring it in tennis shoes. We continue to have issues with people throwing it over our fence line in Mangilao and Hagatna or just smuggling it in through incoming and other avenues."
