It’s the season of giving and Gov Lou Leon Guerrero, already in the holiday spirit, has decided to declare Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving, a government holiday.
The maga’haga made the announcement today by executive order.
This year marks the first proper Thanksgiving celebration since the COVID pandemic hit the island. The extra holiday also provides government agencies time to holiday make necessary administrative adjustments, including the provision of adequate statutory notice for hearings.
