Art intersects with decolonization in Friday's Unknown Projects: Freshman Class
The Commission on Decolonization, in collaboration with the Department of CHamoru Affairs and Josh Agerstrand, also known as Joshua Barrigada, will host the opening night of Unknown Projects: Freshman Class on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Guam Museum.
This event is free and open to the public.
Unknown Projects: Freshman Class is a specially-curated art gallery featuring works from Jerrold Castro, Joseph Certeza, Marcus Villaverde, Lucille Ronquillo, Gera Datuin (@datu.sigwarz), Joshua Barrigada, April Colitoy, Kay Quidachay, Maria Sol Dueñas Marques, and select works produced by students at the Fanhita Manhoben: Decolonization Through the Arts youth conference held Sept. 28-29, 2022. Unknown Projects seeks to explore and showcase the intersections of art, decolonization, culture, and identity.
The community is invited to attend the opening night to meet and engage with artists.
