Celebrate ArborFest Saturday at Jeff's Pirate's Cove

Join Smokey Bear, the Department of Agriculture, UOG Sea Grant and friends this Saturday for ArborFest at Jeff's Pirate's Cove in Ipan.

There will be plenty of Ridge to Reef activities for all ages from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. celebrating trees and what they do for Guam's ecosystems. 

Enjoy everything from art to cultural activities, education and outreach information, a native tree maze, readings by UOG Press authors and much more. You also can learn how to minimize your carbon footprint with a car show featuring Japanese mini cars. as well as how to make coconut rhino beetle traps from dead coconut trees and rope from pågo trees.
