Police need help locating the thief who stole items from two tourists at Ypao Beach midday Tuesday. KUAM News first brought you the exclusive details. Witnesses reported the incident as a robbery after the women, who were in the water, discovered their purse and passports were taken off the beach.
Officers responded to the park in Tumon just after 1 p.m. yesterday. Guam Police Department confirmed just today the case is being investigated as a theft. The thief got away with a black bag, a Dior wallet, the victims' driver's license, passports, credit cards, and more than $200 in cash.
Witnesses tell KUAM the women were visiting from South Korea. Both now working with the Korean Consulate to help them get back home.
