Sentencing for man in dart game shooting pushed back
He shot a man over $700 owed to him in a game of darts. Justin Michael Duenas was set to be sentenced before Superior Court Judge Vernon Perez today. But he will have to wait until the end of the year to learn his fate. The parties are waiting to find out
He shot a man over $700 owed to him in a game of darts.
Justin Michael Duenas was set to be sentenced before Superior Court Judge Vernon Perez today.
But he will have to wait until the end of the year to learn his fate.
The parties are waiting to find out first if co-actor Jensen Develles' case will go to trial or if he will take a plea deal.
Duenas is set to appear back in court on Dec. 16.
The shooting occurred at a home in Trankilo Court in Dededo in august of last year.
The victim told police the pair walked into the home armed with guns before fighting.
Duenas then shoots the victim in the chest.
Duenas has since pleaded guilty to aggravated assault along with a special allegation of use of a deadly weapon.
