Results from primary election now certified

The primary election results are now certified. The numbers, however, un-phased by last night’s count of provisional and absentee ballots. More than 400 of those ballots were tabulated and added to the August 27 primary results.

Though it does not change the outcome – taking a look at the numbers -

Leon Guerrero/ Tenorio got 264 additional votes. San Nicolas/ Salas Matanane received 97 more votes. The incumbent governor garnering 62.49% of the votes in a race that election officials say saw a record low voter turnout.

Camacho/Ada got 45 more votes. They will be going up against the incumbents this November.

In the delegate race, Won Pat received 204 additional votes and Nelson got 137 more votes. Won Pat taking 55.43% of the votes.
