Public health emergency extended again
Guam will remain in a public health emergency for the 29th consecutive month.
Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero extended the declaration another 30 days, effective Aug. 5 through Sept. 4. The executive order basically reiterates previous EO's. Stating in part that our community periodically experiences intermittent surges in our positivity and retransmission rates, and new variants continue to emerge around the world, threatening to destabilize our progress, it is important that we continue to monitor our community’s response effort.
