In regional headlines, the Federated States of Micronesia continues its battle against its first local wave of COVID cases.  They reported 270 new cases in the last day with a total death count at 11. They've recorded 6,291 cases since January 2021. 

FSM borders remain open for international travel. Meanwhile, Chuuk and Yap will impose a quarantine for travelers while they remain COVID-free. The FSM reports that 75% of people 5 years and older are fully vaccinated.

56% of 45 year olds and older have a booster shot. As we reported both Guam and the CNMI are aiding in their fight against the virus. Guam has sent medication and the CNMI sent thousands of test kits in recent weeks.
