The Joint Information Center reports 94 new COVID-19 cases today from 1,194 specimens collected on July 27. Of the new cases, 12 were reported by the Department of Defense.

The number of hospitalizations has decreased from yesterday’s count of 21, as there are now 18 people hospitalized due to the virus. Three are still receiving ICU level care and two people are now on ventilators. Nine are in the Guam Memorial Hospital, five are admitted inside the Guam Regional Medical City and four are in the U.S. Naval Hospital.

Eleven of the hospitalized are vaccinated and seven are unvaccinated. To date, there have been a total of 55,057 officially reported cases, 380 deaths, 856 cases in active isolation, and 53,821 not in active isolation.
