Investigation ongoing but no foul play suspected in human remains found in Dededo

The human remains found in Dededo near St. Paul Christian School off Mendioka St., appeared to have come from a person who died of natural causes according to the medical examiner.

Last week, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division conducted a “found remains” investigation. During the preliminary stages of the investigation, detectives noted no indications of a struggle and no apparent signs of foul play. A post-mortem examination was conducted on Monday. The Guam Police Department is unable to release the identity of the individual at this time, pending notification of next of kin. However, the investigation is ongoing and information will be provided to the public, as it becomes available.
