75 new COVID cases reported

The Joint Information Center reports 75 new COVID-19 cases today from 864 specimens collected on June 22. Of the new cases, 23 were reported by the Department of Defense.

Eight residents are now hospitalized due to the virus, with one being a pediatric patient and the other receiving ICU level care. Five are confined at the Guam Memorial Hospital, two at the Guam Regional Medical City and one at the U.S. Naval Hospital. Of the hospitalized six are fully vaccinated and two are unvaccinated.
