A local hotel is fundraising to assist the over 5 million affected by the devastating invasion of Ukraine by Russia.  The Westin Resort Guam has begun selling "Stand With Ukraine'' wristbands to raise money toward relief support during their time of distress as of June 14.

The Ukrainian crisis has raged as people must flee to safety in neighboring countries since March. As a result, many citizens within Ukraine’s border have been displaced, and the conflict has impacted many.

Profits from the wristbands will be given to the World Central Kitchen, who work to distribute meals to those impacted by the war, both in Ukraine and those who have fled to safer neighbors.

The wristbands are priced at $5 at the Westin Resort’s front desk reception, Issin Japanese Restaurant, Taste Restaurant, and The Mix.
