CNMI Lt. Gov. Palacios is now in outpatient care

CNMI Lt. Gov. Arnold Palacios was discharged from the ICU at The Queens Healthcare Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i, and released to a primary care physician for outpatient care, according to a media release from his office.
The update comes two weeks since Palacios collapsed in court while testifying in the NMI Attorney General's criminal case against Governor Ralph Torres related to misuse of government funds and corruption. On June 2, Palacios and his wife Wela left Saipan via military medevac to Honolulu, Hawaii.
“I feel great and everything is fine but I still have tests this week and next. We need to make sure these things don't happen again,” Lt. Gov. Palacios wrote.
He expects to be back in the CNMI in the next couple of weeks.
