Man accused of beating victim with a bat, cut with machete arrested after bicycle crash

Christopher Lee Arnold, 47, has been arrested and charged with Family Violence as a third-degree felony and Aggravated Assault as a third-degree felony with a special allegation of possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
The victim told police that Arnold demanded money from her, beat her with a pipe or a bat and cut her with a machete causing her to pass out on March 25. The report states that officers responding to the call observed injuries consistent with the victim's statement and the victim was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Arnold was not located until June 12 when officers were investigating an auto-bicycle collision in Tamuning and he was identified riding the bicycle, according to the magistrate's complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam.
