There's a new date for the State of the Island Address. It's now scheduled for Wednesday, June 22 at 6pm at the Guam Congress Building. It was originally set for June 7, but was postponed after Governor Lou Leon Guerrero came down with a respiratory ailment during a debate the week prior.

She was specifically advised by her doctor not to deliver the speech and to focus instead on her heal

Congressman Michael San Nicolas was set to deliver his State of the Congress Address three days later, but also postponed saying he would reschedule his speech until after the governor had time to recover.
