The man who beat a woman on Thanksgiving Day in 2019 while robbing her pled guilty to First Degree Robbery as a first-degree felony and Theft of Property as a second-degree Felony.

According to a release from the Office of the Attorney General, Frank Patrick Aitasi took a plea deal in the case where he faces a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 25 years in prison.

On Nov. 28, 2019 Aitasi robbed the Bejado Barbershop in Dededo and repeatedly struck the 61-year-old victim, dragged her across the floor, and beat her until she lost consciousness. The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries

He was able to steal thousands of dollars from the shop before fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Aitasi was later captured after he was recognized from surveillance footage of him leaving the area on a bicycle.
