In opposition of Sen. Telena Nelson's Bill 291-36, titled the Guam Heartbeat Act of 2022, different organizations will be protesting tomorrow from 4 to 6 p.m. in front of the Guam Congress building. Co-founder and district deputy director of Famalao’an rights, Stephanie Lorenzo and chief development officer Kiana Yabut.
"Tomorrow's protest is really just for Guam to have a right to reproductive health care have a right and have accessibility to medical abortions on island," Lorenzo said.
"The Guam Government has created abortion and reproductive healthcare is a moral issue instead of a health care issue," Yabut said.

Tomorrow is also Denim Day which is a global movement to prevent sexual violence and harassment. Yabut says since there is no clause in Bill 291-36 that protect sexual assault victims they’re asking the community to wear denim. Signs will also be distributed at the event.
