Man suffers injuries in early morning crash

Few details have been released about the auto accident that occurred early this morning in Yigo.

 Officers responded to a crash involving two vehicles on Route 1,  by American Grocery in the northern village. Guam Fire Department spokesperson Kevin Reilly said at around 12:39 a.m. units were dispatched to the accident with serious injuries. One male was transported to Guam Regional Medical City with CPR en route.

According to Guam Police Department spokesperson Berlyn Savella, the road was closed for a few hours, forcing vehicles to be rerouted as officers conducted their investigation, and was reopened right before 7 a.m. The investigation is currently ongoing. As of news time, there has been no word on the condition of the male patient.
