The deadline to apply for a great summer internship with the National Weather Service is fast approaching. NWS lead meteorologist Landon Aydlett says the internship is for students 16 years old and up and the application can be found at usajobs.org.

"Look for that Job Series '1399' for physical scientist for Barrigada, Guam and we hope to see somebody here locally in our office," Aydlett told KUAM News this morning.

According to the website, hired applicants "Will receive on-the-job and formal training to provide experience in the operation and familiarization with physical science programs, policies, and procedures".

The deadline to apply for the internship is tomorrow.
