G3 searching for next cohort

If you're ready to take up the fight for island sustainability, then the Guam Green Growth's Conservation Corps is looking for you. G3 is will begin filling its next cohort with 12 people starting in March and ending in August.
"So we have six themes that they will be undergoing, training, education and activities for," Phillip Cruz of G3 said. "And those themes are it's a lot, agriculture and aquaculture, circular economy and zero waste, ocean conservation, invasive species management, energy conservation and renewable energy and island beautification."
Eligible candidates are US citizens over the age of 18 and aspire to one day work in Guam's green economy.
"We really are looking for individuals who we really think will benefit from this workforce development program," Cruz said. "The ultimate goal is to at the end of the program we really would like these individuals to get jobs in the green economy whether it's with the Department of Agriculture or to work through the renewable energy add conservation themes or maybe get a job with a solar provider in Guam. So our main goal really is to get people who we think would really benefit from this program"
