Thirty-year-old Vincent Corey San Nicolas Mantanona was arrested for firing a gun after a man known to him told him he was not welcome in his home.

According to a Guam Police Department release, GPD officers responded to a call of a possible shooting at a Yona residence early Wednesday morning. The male victim reported that he awoke to find Mantanona on his couch, and an argument soon ensued after he told him to leave. A witness reported that when the victim re-entered the home, Mantanona raised his hand towards the sky, and within a few second, saw him fire five shots. The responding officer located a Luger pistol on the floor of the car. A firearms check confirmed that the gun did not belong to Mantanona. He was charged with possession of a firearm without firearms id, possession of an unregistered firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and disorderly conduct.
