On Saturday, the KUAM CareForce along with the Salvation Army of Guam and their community partners, including the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints loaded up all your donations for our Fill the Bus campaign. Pulling up to the KUAM Studio parking lot in Harmon was a bus from Kloppenburg Enterprises ready to be stuffed with school supplies, toiletries, snacks, and everything a child needs for a successful school year.

Salvation Army's Captains Eric and Kari Rudd said, "We had Twinkles donate 100 backpacks, LDS provided 200 stuffed backpacks, we had KUAM promote the whole entire thing, Andersen Air Force Base, Bank of Guam, there were so many corporate donors! It's been a community-wide effort and we wouldn't have been able to do it without everybody."

Once the bus departed the KUAM parking lot, it made its way to Salvation Army where our friends from GTA Teleguam were standing by ready to prep the remaining backpacks for children.

Again, thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, messaged and helped us fill the bus. You made this happen, Guam!
