It was an abbreviated legislative session today. Senators began by discussing a bill by Vice Speaker Tina Barnes regarding deeds for land in trust. The measure removes the requirement that it contain the words "without power of sale." But Lawmakers went into recess to get legal counsel's opinion on the highly technical provisions.

And after more than an hour, they came back and decided to "call it a day."

They will reconvene session on Monday morning, and begin with the State of the Congress addr
