A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of robbery suspect 32 year old Curtis Victor Diaz. The Guam Police Department reports that on May 31, police conducted the stop along Route 4 in Sinajana when they discovered meth and drug paraphernalia during a search of a 2003 Lexus.

Diaz was the driver of the vehicle; he was transported to the Central Precinct Command for further investigation.

According to GPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao, a background check was conducted and it learned that Diaz was wanted for questioning relative to a robbery and theft of a motor vehicle investigation from December 3rd 2020 in Agat.

Diaz faces a slew of charges including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, assault, illegal possession of a schedule two controlled substance.
