Jim Quidachay facing drug possession, assault charges

An assault complaint leads to the arrest of another drug defendant, 56-year-old Jim Quidachay.


A magistrate's complaint charges him with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance as a third-degree felony and assault as a misdemeanor.

According to court documents, on April 27, Guam Police Department officers responded to an assault complaint on San Francisco Street in Agat. Quidachay allegedly hit the reporting victim's forearms, began striking him several times and threw a can of butane at him. The defendant fled the scene, but was found by cops nearly a month later.... on May 17, GPD saw Quidachay walking along the same street in Agat. During a search officers found a pipe and meth on the defendant. Quidachay alleged that the items were not his.
