After being at large for two weeks, Erik De Castro was "reluctantly" released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond with conditions by Magistrates Judge Jonathan Quan.

He faces theft by receiving as a 3rd degree felony. According to the complaint, on March 19 officers received a burglary report at a RK Plaza establishment. The business owner stated that the shop doors were pried open and several items were stolen.

Surveillance footage showed two men broke into the shop, in which nearly a week later officers identified the two suspects as Thano James Fuller and Tian Tenorio.

Additionally officers learned of a third person was involved, De Castro, who was found in possession of the stolen items. A search warrant was executed yesterday, and he was arrested.

Documents state the total amount of items found at De Castro's residence was more than $500.

It was noted in court that De Castro has an extensive criminal history dating back to 2006. His next court hearing was set for May 14.

Both Fuller and Tenorio have been charged separately in the case for burglary.
