San Nicolas says he'll bring Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene cookies for outreach

Making the rounds on social media is a quote from Freshman Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene.


The Georgia representative reportedly said, "We believe our hard-earned tax dollars should just go for America. Not for, what? China, Russia, the Middle East, Guam, whatever, wherever."

In response, Congressman Michael San Nicolas said Congresswoman Greene is a new member, and we will be paying a visit to her and delivering delicious Chamorro Chip cookies as part of our ongoing outreach to new members to introduce them to our wonderful island of Guam."

Earlier this term, the House of Representatives voted to remove Taylor-Green from all of her committee roles in response to incendiary statements, including public support for disproven QAnon conspiracy theories.
