A handful of grand jury indictments came down this week, with a majority of individuals facing drug possession charges.

The Office of the Attorney General issued the court documents in a mass email of the separate cases.

The Superior Court of Guam grand jury charges Peter John Yamaguchi Mendiola with possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance as a third-degree felony. Mendiola allegedly committed the offense on Jan. 13.

On that same day officers arrested Wilson Malubay Esma for a separate offense. Esma was indicted for Criminal Mischief as a third-degree felony, criminal mischief as a misdemeanor, family violence as a misdemeanor and two counts of harassment as a petty misdemeanor. According to court documents the defendant intentionally damaged a motor vehicle and placed a family member in danger.

SJ Arongaw faces possession of a schedule two controlled substance as a third-degree felony. According to court documents the offense was committed on Jan, 16 and was a felony while on felony release.

Billy Ray Quintanilla was indicted for Identity Theft as a third-degree felony, Theft as a third-degree felony and Theft as a misdemeanor. Court documents state Quintanilla committed the impersonation offense for two days in October 2020.

John Paul Topasna Santiago faces two counts of felony vehicle identification as a third-degree felony and two counts of Vehicle Without Identification as a misdemeanor. Santiago allegedly committed the offenses on April 10, 2020 and then again on April 24, 2020.

Mateichy Kiteuo was indicted on Possession of a Schedule II Controlled substance as a third-degree felony, he was arrested for allegedly committing the offense on May 5, 2020.

Jacob Anthony Cepeda Duenas faces Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance as a third-degree felony, for allegedly committing the offense on May 30, 2020.

That same month D-One Iphraim also known as Dywan was arrested on drug charges. He was indicted for Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid Driver's License as a violation.

Tino Salomon faces similar charges for a separate crime. He was indicted on Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license as a violation. Salomon allegedly committed the offense on Oct. 17, 2020.

A grand jury indictment charges Justin Jay Nededog Perez with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance as a third-degree felony and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license as a violation. According to court documents the offense occurred on Sept. 21, 2020.

Danny Vincent Rodriguez was indicted on three counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct as a first-degree felony and nine counts of Second-Degree Criminal Sexual conduct as a first-degree felony. He allegedly sexually assaulted a minor in January 2020, then again from March 1 through April 30, 2020. According to court documents the defendant also committed the alleged offense from February 2014 to February 2019.

Giovanni Joe Akima faces two counts of Terrorizing as a third-degree felony with a special allegation of possession or use of a deadly weapon in the commission as a felony attached. He was also charged with five counts of Violation of Court order as a misdemeanor, two counts of Harassment as a petty misdemeanor and two counts of disorderly conduct as a petty misdemeanor. Akima allegedly committed the crimes on Jan. 11 and Jan. 13 of this year.

Joey Sammy Tedtaotao was indicted on four counts of Aggravated Assault as a third-degree felony and terrorizing as a third-degree felony, both charges include a special allegation of possession or use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony attached. Additionally, the indictment charges the defendant with four counts of family violence as a third-degree felony, three counts of child abuse as a misdemeanor and unlawful restraint as a misdemeanor.

Frank Joseph Leon Guerrero Taitague faces aggravated assault as a third-degree felony with a special allegation of possession or use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony attached and Family Violence as a third-degree felony charge. He allegedly committed the offense on Jan. 17.

Michael John Cepeda Camacho was indicted on two counts of Family Violence as a third-degree felony, two counts of strangulation as a third-degree felony, criminal mischief as a misdemeanor and three counts of violation of a court order as a misdemeanor.

Efren Tamio Bataclan faces possession of schedule two controlled substance as a third-degree felony. Bataclan allegedly committed the offense on Aug. 18, 2020 and has been summoned to appear before Superior Court Magistrates Judge Benjamin Sison on Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m.
