Andrew Castro's family using proceeds from GoFundMe campaign to help crime victims

Following last week's horrific murder of Andrew Ray Castro in Santa Rita, his family started a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money to bring family home for his funeral.
Andrew's brother Jonathan Castro was on The Link this morning says although they have reached their goal the site is still open to accept additional donations to fund a foundation in his memory that will go to other victims of crime.
"if they are in that situation we are in right now we can help donate all that money that we do get to whoever it is, because we do know how hard it is," said Jonathan. "And the struggles with funeral costs, caskets, we understand - that's one of the reasons we're not shutting down the site because we know that when we do get this it's going to make a bigger impact on not just my brother's death; it's going to be a big impact on the community here on Guam."
Charged with the murder of Castro was 40-year-old Donovan Ornellas. He appeared in court last week. His bail was set at one million dollars.
His next court appearance is scheduled for February 1.
