More arrested for hiding accused murderer Ronat Chutaro

Twenty-five-year-old Ronat Chutaro was wanted by police for the fatal stabbing of Arthur Wakuk, and several others accused of hiding him from police have been arrested. Chutaro faces murder charges for the death of Arthur Wakuk.


The incident occurred midday on Dec. 8, however, Chutaro who was wanted for questioning, wasn't located until Christmas Day. He was found with 28-year-old Mathinia Atiput at a residence along Swamp Road in Dededo.

Atiput was arrested for hindering apprehension, as were multiple other individuals. According to a Guam Police Department press release, Dec. 29, the following were arrested for hindering apprehension:

Tyson Johnny Teliu, 25, booked and released

Arsina Pich, 28, booked and released

John Ehmnes Kelly, 24, also arrested on Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and warrant of arrest was booked and confined at the Department of Corrections

Also, Scott Marco's Soram was arrested for Purchase and Possession/Use of or Carry of a Firearm Without a Valid Identification, Unregistered Firearms, Concealed Firearms Without a Valid Identification and AK Atty, 29, was arrested for Purchase or Possession/Use or Carry of Firearms without Valid Identification and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. Both men were booked and confined at DOC. 

The case has been forwarded to the office of the attorney general for prosecution. Chutaro's next court appearance has been set for Jan. 5.
