Senators did discuss the PAWS Act during session late this afternoon, along with two other measures. They include another bill by Senator Perez to adopt the 2017 Guam Tropical Energy Code, which she says better aligns with our warmer climate than previous building codes.

Also moved to the Voting File was a measure by Senator Jim Moylan to fund the repair and rehabilitation of the Southern High School auditorium.  Lawmakers recessed until Wednesday when they will vote on these and several other bills.

It will likely be the final session for the 35th Guam legislature.

The new body is scheduled to be sworn into office on January 4, 2021.
