Man caught on camera assaulting store employee

Dy Ifraim, 28, was arrested and charged with Assault as a misdemeanor and Reckless Conduct as a misdemeanor after hitting a victim with a metal pipe.
According to court documents, police responded to a disturbance at a store in Harmon. A witness was behind the counter talking to another person when a man, later identified as Ifraim, struck a store employee with what appeared to be a bat.
The employee was able to raise his arm to defend himself. Ifraim was seen on camera wearing a red cap, red bandana, maroon shorts and red jersey with the number 23.
Police later responded to a separate incident in Harmon where they met four men, including a man that matched the description of the store suspect. Police observed two metal pipes within the vehicle which, according to police, matched the description of the weapon used by the suspect in the footage, according to court documents. Police confiscated a 32.5 inch metal pole and a 18.5
inch damaged pole.
