Six combat medics from the Guam National Guard's Joint Task Force 671, Task Force Medical, are on the floor of the Guam Memorial Hospital's COVID-19 Care Unit after a day of training and N95 mask fitting, according to a National Guard release. The medics will assist with vital sign monitoring and recording, phlebotomy and glucose screening, pneumatic compression device management, and other tasks that will better enable GMH staff to focus on critical care.
