Adelup Press Secretary Krystal Paco San Agustin provides more information about today’s lockdown ordered by Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. During this morning’s interactive radio show “The Link” she announced the following:

-Local banks are allowed to remain open for normal hours today and Saturday, however starting Monday they must comply with the Governor’s Executive Order.

-Effective this evening with the arrival of the Honolulu and Narita flights all passengers going forward will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine at one of the government’s quarantine facilities. It does not matter if you have a negative COVID-19 test you will be subject to mandatory quarantine.

-All curb-side and drive though delivery services will be allowed to continue under the one week lock down.

-Adelup’s hotline numbers will go live at 11:00am. The numbers to call for people with questions regarding the one week lockdown can call 475-9473, 475-9390, 475-4770, and 475-3221.

-All parks and beaches will be closed including for individual use.

-Funeral services will not be allowed during the one week lockdown period.

-Sustenance fishing will be allowed.

During a special address last night the Governor announced that at noon today all business will be closed with the exception of grocery stores, healthcare operations, including pharmacies, gas stations, convenience stores, hardware stores, and those operations critical to health, shelter, and the preservation of life.
