Here are the island organizations that have made adjustments to their normal schedules and hours of operation after the governor signed an executive order moving Guam back into Pandemic Condition of Readiness 1 on August 16. SCHOOLS
- Guam Community College will be transitioning Fall 2020 classes to a remote learning format beginning on Monday, August 17, 2020.
BANKS
- Effective Monday, August 17, 2020, all Community First Guam Federal Credit Union member service center Lobby Teller Services will be CLOSED and will be open for Drive-Thru Transactions Only from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday; and CLOSED on Saturday. The Mangilao Student-Run Credit Union location will be closed until further notice.
-First Hawaiian Bank branches will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with drive-thru service open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
RESTAURANTS
- McDonald's dining rooms will be closed 12:01 am Sunday. Take out is still available 6 am to 10 pm from lobby. Mobile order with curbside pick up available 7 am - 9 pm. Drive thru is available 24 hours. At all locations, except Tumon which is still temporarily closed.
HOSPITALS
- Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) will suspend all visitation in response to the Governor’s Executive Order returning the island to PCOR-1, the most serious condition for COVID-19. The cancellation of all visiting hours will go into effect on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 12:01 AM and remain for a minimum of two weeks. The suspension of visiting hours will affect all departments. There will be no visitors allowed in any of our units or departments, including the Med/Tele or Med/Surg units, ICU, all Specialty Clinics and the Emergency Room. No companions will be allowed to escort patients to their Surgical appointments or consultations. Viewings at the morgue will now be limited to 30 minutes and no more than five (5) people may attend.
SUPERMARKETS
- On Monday, August 17th, all Pay-Less Markets’ locations will close at 10pm. Effective Tuesday, August 18th, temporary hours of operation will be from 5am-6am for Golden Hour for Seniors 60 and above and 6am-10pm for regular store hours. SuperDrug will have regular hours of operation from Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm.
INSURANCE
CHURCHES
Masses will not be completely halted during Pandemic Condition of Readiness 1. Priests will temporarily celebrate masses at the different Catholic churches throughout the island in parking lots and via livestreaming starting this Sunday.
COURTS
The District Court of Guam will be temporarily closed to the public through Monday,
August 31, 2020, except as stated below:
Courthouse (building) access is limited to court employees, tenets of the building, members of the bar attending scheduled in-person court proceedings, grand jurors. Clerk's Office filers, and persons with confirmed appointments with judges, the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office or other tenants of the building. Building access may be further limited to ensure proper social distancing requirements, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, can be maintained throughout the building. Public access to court proceedings via video or telephonic conference is available in accordance with the procedures set fordi below. Court employees, including Clerk's Office and U.S. Probation staff, will remain available by telephone and email from 8:00 am. until 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday, other than legal holidays.

The Archdiocese of Agana has announced parish mass schedules have been adjusted as parking lot and/or livestreams. Masses due to the declaration of PCOR 1. Priests will temporarily celebrate masses at the different Catholic churches throughout the island in parking lots and via livestreaming.
