Adults--men and women, throwing blow after blow in the middle of San Vitores Road in Tumon.
There were spectators front row to the raucous.
In the video capturing the commotion, a voice could be heard uttering, "Why do you guys hate each other, stop hating each other."
One of the witnesses to the early Sunday morning scrap was comedian Chalee-Jr. who didn't hold back sharing his thoughts on social media. Chuck, who is also a service member, is visiting Guam.
"Ya'll are out here embarrassing us again once again sailors, marines," he said. "It's everybody in the middle of the street ya'll got the security people trying to break it up. God, what is wrong with you who is briefing these sailors before the weekend? Do you all even do weekend briefing they just let you all loose just let you be rampant in the streets? Huh, get some get right over here man. Come on, this is Guam, man. We are visitors here. We are visitors. Ya'll need to learn how to act. They know ya'll military--out here showing your...tearing up these people streets, blocking off traffic. What hell wrong with ya'll?"
The incident isn't a laughing matter police spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao says the riot is under investigation adding that by the time police arrived everyone was gone.
Joint Region Marianas Spokesperson Lt. Commander Rick Moore says JRM and Naval Criminal Investigation Services are looking into allegations those involved in the fight were activity-duty service members adding
"Disorderly behavior is not consistent with DOD values or standards of conduct and is not representative of the majority of service members who conduct themselves appropriately while on liberty," he said. "DOD command leadership continues to reinforce the importance of behavior on liberty and the standards of conduct all service members are expected to maintain, both on and off duty"
