Trial has been set for May 7 in the District Court of Guam for Darrell Jake Guerrero, although his attorney Curtis Vandeveld informed the court that based on present obligations with other criminal cases he will not be able to take Guerrero's case to trial before July.
Guerrero was indicted for Possession of 50 or More Grams of Meth with Intent to Distribute.
This afternoon during his continued status conference, Magistrates Judge Michael Bordallo set hearing dates within the speedy trial clock and told the defense counsel to file motions for extension.
In addition, a potential third party custodian was present in court however due to issues with the residence, an alternate location is under review. The court ordered a new TPC report be put in writing and filed prior to hearing arguments on the potential release of Guerrero.
