A march to raise awareness about climate change and violence against women as Guam joined millions around the globe.
Women and girls showed up in force for the Guam Women's March on Saturday. The march began with a healing circle and speakers highlighting women's rights in Micronesia.
Participants wore red and marched to the Women of the Island's Statue at Alupang, where they performed a tribute to survivors of violence.
The march closed with meditation and a performance of the anti-rape song and dance.
