Violeta Manahan was sentenced to more than three years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. In 2017 she signed a plea deal admitting to bringing in more than 100-grams of the drug ice and introducing customers to a supplier in California.
The drug conspiracy went on for four years beginning in January 2013. She could have spent more time behind bars but because of her substantial assistance to the DEA in its investigation of meth distribution on Guam she received a lower sentence. Manahan was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
