The Guam Police Department continues to receive information from the community about the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Dededo.

Police say they are actively investigating all leads and information they are receiving.

"It really is this tip information that has led our DART investigators in identifying possible suspects relative to this case with these types of cases it really is the information that helps breaks the cases that's provided through the community," police Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao said. "But rest assured our investigators are continuing to follow up with these tip information and of course the information through the Guam Crime Stoppers and directly to the Guam Police Department."

The 13-year-old victim was walking home when she was grabbed from behind and pulled into the jungle and sexually assaulted along Loreta street. She eventually managed to escape.
