On Friday evening, the grand opening of the Governor's Holiday Home was held.

This year, those that stop by the Government House in Agana Heights will get to see Christmas trees decorated by a host of Guam's non-profit organizations to include: Catholic Social Service, Guma Mami', Micronesia Climate Change Alliance, WestCare Pacific Islands, Guam's Positive Parents Together, Guahan Sustainable Culture, and Sanctuary, Inc.

"Just enjoy the holidays," Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said. "Let's be safe during the holidays. And let's continue loving each other, our families, our friends, and even the strangers that we see out in the streets."

The Governor's Holiday Home is open weekly on Monday and Tuesday from 6-8:30 p.m. until Jan. 7.
