On Friday evening, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero released a letter to media that she had sent to Guam Education Board Chairman Mark Mendiola, reiterating her support for high school sports to remain unified under the IIAAG.

The letter is also requesting the GEB to rescind a decision they made back in January of this year to sever from the IIAAG to form their own league.

The Interscholastic Sports Association is scheduled to start next week and some IIAAG schools have agreed to interleague play with the GDOE.
