Hazardous sea conditions remain while Kammuri moves away

The National Weather Service, Guam Weather Forecast Office advised seas and winds are gradually diminishing as Typhoon Kammuri moves away from the Marianas.
However, the following advisories remain in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan,
-A high surf advisory is in effect through next week Tuesday. There is a high risk of rip currents through Saturday.
-A small craft advisory remains in effect as well. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid sailing in these conditions.
The community is reminded to avoid hazardous seas until conditions subside. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags, and signs.
