At around 9:45am, officers from the Dededo Precinct responded to Bejado’s Barber Shop on Loreta Street relative to a robbery complaint. According to GPD Spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao, preliminary reports suggest that a female victim, 61, was struck from behind by an unknown man, while inside the establishment.

GFD medics transported the victim to Guam Regional Medical City. The patient had injuries to the head and was semi-conscious upon arrival.

The suspect is only described as a heavyset man, dark complexion, black curly hair, 5’8" in height and was seen fleeing on a mountain bike with the victim’s bag.

All information will remain confidential and a cash reward of up to $1,000 could be paid if the information provided leads to an arrest and a grand jury indictment.
